
Jaime Jarrett (they/them, he/him) is a Philadelphia/New York based composer, lyricist, librettist, and theatre maker with a mission to tell honest and imaginative trans and queer stories through music, magic, and science fiction.

His works have been developed at various institutions including The National Alliance for Musical Theatre, 5th Avenue Theatre, Northwestern University, Musical Theatre Factory, Temple University, and The University of the Arts. Jaime is the recipient of New York Musical Festival’s “Outstanding Emerging Artist Award” as well as the Ira Brind School of Theatre Arts’ “Excellence in Playwriting Award.” Jaime is also a proud member of the inaugural Makers Co-Hort at Musical Theatre Factory, Fresh Ground Pepper's 2021 Playground Playgroup, and the BMI Lehman Engel Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop. This May, Jaime will complete his MFA in Musical Theatre Collaboration at Temple University.
